  Matthew Renkoski

Matthew Renkoski is Managing Director for Protein Technologies International, a DuPont food ingredient business. Renkoski oversees the division’s worldwide business activities, including identifying market segments and opportunities for grain and oilseed products that have been improved through biotechnology.

Renkoski joined DuPont Agricultural Products in 1978 as a sales representative in northeast Missouri. In 1984, he transferred to DuPont headquarters in Wilmington, Delaware, where his various product manager assignments included marketing and business responsibilities for Canopy, Assure, Classic, and Pinnacle herbicides. He became the company’s mid-south district manager in Memphis in 1988, serving the cotton and rice markets.

In 1995, Renkoski was named soybean business manager for DuPont’s biotech initiative--- DuPont Quality Grains in Des Moines, Iowa. In that position, he was responsible for the production, product development and marketing of added-value soybean products.

Renkoski grew up on a dairy farm in the Missouri Ozarks where he still owns a walnut farm. He received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in agronomy from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Professionally, he is a member of the Biotech Industry Organization (BIO), National Agriculture Marketing Association (NAMA), Institute of Food Technologists (IFT), and the St. Louis Agribusiness Club.
