  Gary Marshall

Gary Marshall is the Chief Executive Officer of the Missouri Corn Growers Association (MCGA) and the Missouri Corn Merchandising Council (MCMC). Since November 1988, he has been employed as Executive Director/CEO. Marshall previously served as the MCGA/MCMC Director of Field Services.

In his position, Marshall oversees all aspects of the corn industry in Missouri. He focuses on agricultural research, legislation, education and communications. Marshall also guides a thirteen-member board of directors and oversees a nine person staff.

A graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia with a degree in Agricultural Economics, Marshall has always been involved in agriculture. Previously, he owned and managed a feed and farm supply business for fourteen years. He also worked for the Federal Land Bank in St. Louis. In addition to his executive duties, Marshall currently owns and operates a crop and livestock farm near Jamestown, Missouri.

In the past 12 years as Executive Director/CEO of MCGA and MCMC, Marshall has served on numerous committees at the state and national level. In February 1999, he was awarded a Citation of Merit by the University of Missouri College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources for his work in developing value-added opportunities for Missouri farmers and his lobbying efforts that lead to the creation of the National Plant Genome Initiative.

A native of Jamestown, Marshall and his wife, Kim, currently reside in Jefferson City, Missouri.
