  Dale Ludwig

Dale R. Ludwig serves as Executive Director/CEO of the Missouri Soybean Association (MSA) and the Missouri Soybean Merchandising Council (MSMC). Ludwig oversees all promotion and research activities supported by the soybean checkoff. He also directs all dues-funded membership activities for thousands of Missouri’s soybean farmers.

Before coming to the soybean office, Ludwig worked in the agribusiness marketing and communications industry with Monsanto and Cargill Nutrena Feeds.

Currently, Ludwig serves on Senator Bond’s Agriculture Advisory Board, the Missouri 4-H Foundation, the Missouri Ag Research Council (MARC), as well as the Missouri Biotechnology Association (MO-BIO) and Governor Holden’s Task Force on Agriculture Advisory Board.

A graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia (MU) with degrees in animal science and agricultural economics, Ludwig now serves as president-elect of the University of Missouri Alumni. Previously, he was president, first vice-president, and vice president of the MU Ag Alumni. Ludwig also completed the Missouri Chamber of Commerce Leadership Missouri program and the Agricultural Leadership of Tomorrow (ALOT) program.

Ludwig is the first ever recipient of the University of Missouri Tiger Pride Award. He also received recognition as MU’s College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources Alumnus of the Year. Dale was recognized by the St. Louis Agri-Business Club as its Ag Leader of the Year and also as Mid-Missouri Business Journal’s Top 40 Under 40 business leader.

Ludwig and his wife, Rhonda, reside in Jefferson City, Missouri, with their two children Trent and Claire.
